ATHENS, GREECE (NOVEMBER 28, 2022) — The Greek National Opera (GNO) presents the Greek premiere of Offenbach’s Les contes d’Hoffmann staged by leading European opera director and Artistic Director of Warsaw’s Nowy Teatr (New Theater), Krzysztof Warlikowski, and conducted by Lukas Karytinos. The production runs for eight performances spanning December 18, 2022 to January 4, 2023. A co-production between the GNO and La Monnaie in Brussels, Les contes d’Hoffmann was made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) [www.SNF.org] to enhance the GNO’s artistic outreach.
