The Gilmore presents 15th biennial Gilmore Piano Festival, April 24 - May 15, 2022

The 2022 Gilmore Festival—North America’s largest gathering of keyboard artists—returns to live performances with more than 100 concerts and events

35 events to be livestreamed including recitals streamed as part of The Gilmore’s new partnership with Deutsche Grammophon’s DG Stage virtual classical concert hall series

Festival highlights to include:

Solo recitals and concerto performances by pianists including Igor Levit (2018 Gilmore Artist; most recently named), Daniil Trifonov, Beatrice Rana, Seong-Jin Cho, Ingrid Fliter (2006 Gilmore Artist), Emanuel Ax, Jan Lisiecki, Lise de la Salle, Jonathan Biss (2002 Gilmore Young Artist), Sergio Tiempo, Michelle Cann, Pedja Mužijević, and Elliot Wuu (2018 Gilmore Young Artist)

World premieres of Gilmore commissions from Matthew Aucoin, performed by Kirill Gerstein (2010 Gilmore Artist); Tyshawn Sorey, performed by pianist Conor Hanick with Sandbox Percussion; and Andrius Žlabys, performed by pianist Sergei Babayan

Chamber music concerts featuring Ingrid Fliter (2006 Gilmore Artist), piano-and-cello duo Isata & Sheku Kanneh-Mason, pianist Lara Downes, piano duo ZOFO, and pianist Lori Sims with violinist Jinjoo Cho

Jazz performances by pianists Herbie Hancock, Fred Hersch, Emmet Cohen, Sullivan Fortner, Dan Tepfer, and Pablo Ziegler, as well as 3Divas, Fox/Wolf Duo,
Svetlana and the Delancey Five, and TRI-FI piano trio

Festival debuts of 2022 Gilmore Young Artists Janice Carissa and Clayton Stephenson, as soloists and in duo performance together

Additional artists including Igudesman & Joo, Pink Martini, and thereminist-pianist Rob Schwimmer, as well as a pre- and post-festival lineup that includes Yuja Wang (2006 Gilmore Young Artist) and Wei Luo (2018 Gilmore Young Artist)
