Mr. Wosner is featured in three works by J.S. Bach: the Keyboard Concerto in F minor, BWV 1056; Keyboard Concerto in D major, BWV 1054; and Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major, BWV 1051, prefaced by Brett Dean’s companion piece Approach (Prelude to a Canon)

Program also features Andrew Norman’s Gran Turismo for 8 violins and Michi Wiancko’s Blue Bourée, arranged for string orchestra

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (October 26, 2021) — Frequent collaborators Shai Wosner and the East Coast Chamber Orchestra (ECCO) reunite in New York for an evening of Bach concertos interweaved with works by Brett Dean, Andrew Norman, and Michi Wiancko. Presented by Music Mondays at Manhattan’s Advent Lutheran Church (2504 Broadway), they perform together in three works by J.S. Bach: the Keyboard Concerto in F minor, BWV 1056; Keyboard Concerto in D major, BWV 1054; and Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major, BWV 1051, the latter of which is prefaced by Brett Dean’s Approach (Prelude to a Canon), composed in 2017 as an introductory companion piece to the concerto. The performance takes place on Monday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m.
