Recital includes world premieres of LENNY for solo piano and the baritone-and-piano version of Tres sonetos de amor, performed by pianist and series founder Marc Peloquin and—in the songs—baritone Michael Kelly; the composer himself performs his Old and Lost Rivers, as well as an intermezzo by Brahms

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (October 6, 2021) — The Manhattan-based contemporary music series KeyedUp Music Project spotlights the music of Tobias Picker, presenting eight of his works in recital, including two world premieres, performed by pianist and series founder Marc Peloquin and baritone Michael Kelly at the Tenri Cultural Institute (43A W. 13th St.) on Saturday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Picker also takes the stage to perform at the piano—playing both his own music and that of Brahms—and share insight into his compositions with the audience.
